Summary: Room has wall paper falling off all over the place, bed is hard as a rock and there are no outlets for charging phones etc anywhere near bed. Tv is miniscule and half the channels don’t work. The hotel has the potential to be so much more but has clearly not had a penny spent on maintenance in decades

Summary: The whole of the hotel was presentable. The staff were friendly and professional including dining room supervisor Laura and her staff, front of house manager Osge, receptionists Steph and Bianca. The food was excellent especially Christmas Day lunch. Thank you to the Cavendish for a brilliant week.

Summary: The first room we were given looked like a dumping ground for old furniture, it was dirty and run down. We complained and got moved to a different room which was much better but still very tired looking, this theme continued throughout the rest of the hotel. The whole place needs a clean up and face-lift.

Summary: A grand beachfront hotel. There is the option of security controlled parking which is an additional fee or on street parking which is free from 6pm to 8am but reasonable after that. I took an elevator to my room on the 4th floor which had a lovely balcony providing an idyllic view. The room was nice and tidy and the bed gave me a great night's sleep. The dining area had a slightly tired looking décor with a buffet breakfast which got the day off to a good start. Decent value for money.
