Summary: It was really nice to be near the water. Staff was friendly. The location is excellent if you’re interested in visiting the elephant seals or Hearst Castle. The restaurant on site was pretty good and service was prompt. My only complaint is that there is no air conditioning, which made for an uncomfortable night. With the windows open my children couldn’t get to sleep due to people coming and going and car noise and with them closed the room got pretty stuffy very quickly. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Summary: Location and views were beautiful but the same can’t be said about the rooms. Rundown, dirty, musty and uncomfortable. For the amount they ask for they can definitely upgrade the rooms. To call themselves a resort is false advertisement, it was motel level at best. Holes in curtains, stained sheets and carpet. Shower head was absolutely disgusting.

Summary: Our stay was excellent. The evening we arrived, the sun was shining, and no over cast. There was some wind, but it was a warm beautiful breeze. We walked along the bluffs and watched the sun go down. The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed or stay so much, that we plan stay there again.

Summary: Oceanfront view is to die for. Rooms and hotel not so great. At $400+ a night, the hotel needs an overhaul and need of a renovation. Very old and grounds not kept up. Nice touch with the complimentary champagne. Roxy at the front desk was sweet. Love the view, but would stay again. Not worth the money.

Summary: My family & I travel quite often but this has been the best service we have ever received. The entire staff was so friendly and professional! This location is the meaning of relaxation. Very quiet and calm, food was great, weather was amazing, it was a nice break from a busy city.

Summary: I paid a high price for an ocean view, but they put us in a 1st floor room with trees that obscured the view. They let us move to another room … again on the 1st floor. There were a lot of dogs in this hotel… I did not know this was a dog hotel or I would have never picked it. The hotel is very run down, but on a positive note, all of the staff in the hotel and restaurant were very nice and accommodating.

Summary: It was a great mini family vacation/bday trip. We enjoyed the games they had outside and the fire pit was a nice touch as well. Can't complain about the location. It's perfect! The beach is close enough and the walk around the area is very relaxing. Plenty of places to eat that are closeby. Not to mention close enough to get to Hearst Castle and do a tour!
