Positive: Words can hardly express how wonderful this place is! A magical Robinson Crusoe paradise! Our stay here was by far better than any we experienced in Bali or Java. Our bungalow was spotless and comfortable and exotic. The sea was only meters away, and the view was breathtaking. The staff were so friendly, and the owner was tremendously kind and thoughtful! We immediately fell in love with the two dogs (Choco Pie and Brandy) who were so sweet and gentle and adorable! There was plenty of fresh clean water in our bungalow every day, and the staff accommodated our American need for many extra packets of Nescafe in our bungalow for our early mornings.As Americans, we drink alot of coffee, LOL. The bungalows are nice and sturdy, and the atmosphere is so romantic! The menu at the restaurant was fantastic! Lots of delicious items to choose from, and oh my goodness, the fruit platter was outstanding! The boat ride to get there is super short (5 or 10 minutes) in a lovely little catamaran) We went on the snorkeling trip. Our guides were fabulous and very thoughtful as I had never snorkled before. They took pictures and videos of us snorkeling, and these were given to us for free, which was super cool! I cannot recommend this place enough; it is absolutely amazing! We plan to return again soon!

Positive: Absolutely beautiful place, lovely staff, great food with lots of variety at fair prices. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and really want to come back as soon as possible. Be aware that you need to take a boat to get there, but there is enough to do around the hotel if you just ask for tips.

Negative: The only negative point is that all the non-drinking water contains salt. So we never felt quite clean and fresh after taking a shower. Also the wind was blowing quite strobg through the bathroom, so the shower can feel a little cold. But I guess thats a small price for a few days in paradise.

Positive: The surroundings and villages are beautiful! Food was okay. Outside cinema by the beach is really nice.

Negative: No water refill in the room, you have to go to the reception/restaurant (the only place in Indonesia we haven’t had water to refill in room) Pool paint coming off makes the pool look unclean even though it’s not.

Positive: I loved my stay here with the beautiful staff of Catappa village. Thank you so much definitely will be back one day! my room was just breathtaking and i couldn’t really fault it! bed was very comfortable multiple areas to relax. bathroom area was clean , loved the big bluetooth speaker in the room! Highly recommend staying with these guys if you are looking for a quite remote getaway! even if you are a solo traveler like myself. Felt like you had the whole island to yourself! i loved the free snorkelling tour it was a great day and saw so many fish and coral 🪸

Negative: the only things i would recommend to improve on is having a small fridge in the rooms to keep water cold. and the chicken and rice dish i had only came with two very small chicken skewers. definitely need to add more chicken to a chicken dish - otherwise it’s just mainly rice and salad. apart from that everything else was fantastic, the staff were welcoming and so helpful/kind. Thank you again 🙌🏽🐠🤍🌺✨🌴
