Positive: What I loved most about this property is its location right on the edge of Castlereagh Tank. The view is absolutely stunning and incredibly relaxing. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature.

Negative: The property is quite far from town, so there's nowhere nearby to buy essentials. But that’s expected with places like this. The peaceful setting and stunning view over Castlereagh Tank more than make up for it

Negative: It was too far out of the town but then again some would think that is a good point. There was no bar.

Positive: The setting is spectacular right beside the lake. A very peaceful, relaxing place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Negative: Low water pressure and lack of a shower screen.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. The views are outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

Negative: The accommodations are very basic. The rooms were clean, but despite many light fixtures, only one had a bulb. There is no indoor common area available. The rooms are large enough to accommodate a simple seating area, but there is not one. We were given one roll of toilet paper and one towel each. There were some small maintenance issues upon arrival, but they were dealt with swiftly by staff. This could be a gem of a hotel, but there should be more small and achievable upgrades to the quality of the facility.

Positive: This place is such a gem! The view from the common area is breathtaking, and the peaceful sounds of nature are incredibly relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfy. The family who runs it is warm, welcoming, and caring, making you feel like you're visiting your own family. Plus, they cook delicious home-cooked meals that add to the wonderful experience. This was my second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first.
