Positive: The room i stayed in was lovely and clean , the view from the window was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable I haven't slept that well for a while . Staff very friendly and welcoming and food was fab. The bath was a great size and very clean water pressure was great lots of hot water . Il definitely stay hear again in April when I next visit.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Fresh orange juice, cereals and yoghurts. Room was clean, tea and coffee with a small fridge in the room. Nice view of old 11th century Wilton Castle. Even had the honour of being the first to try out the new mattress! Plenty of parking on site. A nice easy 10 minute walk into Ross on Wye. Highly recommended.

Positive: Castle Lodge accommodated my late arrival, which was appreciated. I liked my room and it had everything I needed. I had ordered a taxi in the morning but the owner said it was unlikely to turn up; he very kindly gave me a lift to where I needed to be, which I appreciated.

Negative: There are places in the en suite that could do with some attention. The shower needs the mastic replacing, as it is missing in places. The skirting was dusty.

Summary: It was a convenient location, and the hotel met my expectations. I was looked after & would return.
