Positive: The cottage was in a great location and we loved the thatched roof and the warm cottage feel. Our American friends were in awe and how cute it looked. The communal gardens were well maintained giving you a great first impression. Having two bathrooms adds to the convenience of access in the morning and evening. The back garden is very pretty with a secluded decking area at the back overlooking a pond/lake in the distance.

Negative: The staircase is a little bit narrow and steep and for taller individuals, you can easily bump your head on the ground floor ledge.

Positive: Such a lovely property and very unique. Comfortable, warm and beautiful inside and out. Such a great location. Close to restaurants and the town. A visit to the castle is very close by also. Lovely owner who provided everything we needed.

Positive: Loved the beautiful gardens, the comfortable beds, the great location and the uniqueness of the place!

Negative: The only downside was that my parents (both in their 80s) had difficulty with the narrow stairs, the uneven paths outside and the very tall step-in bathtub/shower in the main bathroom. But we made it work and really enjoyed our stay!
