Positive: This is a magical place to stay. The castle is magnificent and the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast is wonderful. The views are stunning.

Negative: Our room was a little small with one window. Because it was very hot - but that’s to be expected these days - the temperature in the room was very uncomfortable. We just could not sleep. It only got manageable around 4am. So after two nights we were a little tired! We suggest a fan on the ceiling of a self contained air conditioner would remedy the problem.

Summary: A lovely place with great staff but unbearably hot at night.

Positive: Fun location, explore the castle at night and morning. Great experience. Very good breakfast. Room was heatable. Comfy bed. Good shower. Bring potable water and a flashlight and good walking shoes; stairs everywhere.

Positive: It felt like visiting a private museum that just opened for you and your family. We were allowed to explore the whole castle on our own and literally go everywhere. The rooms were spacious and comfy, the breakfast very good. You should definitely follow the dining recommendations, we had a great dinner there.

Positive: Castle is in immaculate condition! Maintained its historical characteristics whilst providing you with a comfortable interior. Staff were incredibly welcoming, patient and helpful throughout our stay. Massive thank you to the staff who prepared breakfast for us daily, remembered our coffee orders, cleaned up our rooms when we left the castle (at different hours each day) and for always being happy to help us despite us not being able to speak Italian.

Negative: Getting to the castle through the windy roads was quite tricky, even with a small car. Having luggage was another obstacle, given it was all stair access through our the castle.

Positive: Extremely comfy bed, very nice and helpful staff, breakfast everyday was high quality! We were so happy with our unique stay. The views were incredible and were the perfect backdrop especially when we got dressed for a wedding.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like. Perhaps consider access to an iron and ironing board to borrow within the castle.
