Positive: This place is truly unique and exceptional. It is located in a historic building a real an old castle, with well-equipped and nicely furnished rooms. The beds were very comfortable, and both the bathroom and shower were excellent. What really makes this place special is the beautiful location, surrounded by nature and charming small towns nearby. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations for beautiful places to visit and excellent restaurants and free welcome wine glass. They also have their own winery with very good wines, and the restaurant we tried there was very good. Within about 20–25 minutes by car, you can also find other great restaurants and lovely small towns to explore.

Negative: The only downside is that the property is not easily accessible by public transportation, so having a car is necessary.

Summary: A beautiful and unique stay in a historic castle-like setting with amazing hosts.

Positive: Beautiful place to stay a few nights away from the big crowded cities of Italy. The host was excellent and linked us up with a beautiful dinner at an Agriturismo down the road. Was super authentic and beautiful. The cafe has wonderful coffee and pastries each morning. The room and bed is great with lots of space. The views are immaculate in the morning, afternoon, and evening!

Positive: It is a very special place to stay, in an old castle and its surrounding village. As we understood there are around 30 permanent inhabitants. The apartment was well equipped and nice. Perfect tranquility. Spectacular view. Even wild boars showed up (in safe distance but begging for food, probably they got accustomed). Very nice restaurant attached to the castle. There is also a nice wine tasting bar, closing fairly early so we could not catch due to our late lasting trips.

Negative: Bit far from the civilisation if one wants to go out (10 mins drive in forest roads the closest small town). For us was not a problem as we wanted to relax. I guess you book such a place only in this case. Small misunderstanding with the staff but compensated by waiting for us for the checkin more than planned.
