Just a 5-minute drive from Cruz Bay, Castaways Villa provides a convenient yet tranquil retreat with spectacular views of Chocolate Hole Bay. This two-story town-house offers a spacious escape and kayaks, ideal for families or groups of friends.
The Space:
Upon entering the town-house you'll find that most of the home is centrally located on the ground floor. To the left down the entry hallway is a King bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. To the right, the heart of the home features an open floor plan with a well-appointed kitchen, a half bath, a dining area for 8, and a comfortable living room with a smart TV. Ten-foot ceilings and large glass doors leading to the patio enhance the open and airy ambiance, perfect for cooking or relaxing. You can choose to turn off the AC and enjoy the beach views and sounds or keep the doors closed to cool down after a sunny day.
As you head up the stairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms. The first features two queen beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a balcony with seating. Further down the hall, and slightly more private, is the Deluxe King Suite, which boasts a balcony with breathtaking ocean views. All bedrooms in the villa come equipped with smart TVs, ceiling fans, AC, and beautiful en-suite bathrooms.
Guest Access:
Base Price & Additional Guests:
To make it more affordable for smaller parties, the base price accommodates up to four guests. For each additional guest, there is a fee of $50 per person, per night. Please inform us of any changes to your party size, as we need to update your reservation accordingly. If guests arrive with more people than stated in your reservation, we will charge for the additional guests before check-in.
Safety & House Rules:
For safety and to ensure house rules are being followed, there are Ring door cameras in place.
Check-In Process:
BOOKVI makes the Self Check In process very easy for its guests! We will be in contact with you throughout your travel day for any questions that may come up. A guided check in can be scheduled upon request.
The Neighborhood:
This location is a true gem, with beach access just 50 yards from your back porch. Close to town yet serene and peaceful, you can enjoy morning walks to collect beautiful shells, take an evening dip, or spend the day paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling.
Getting Around:
BOOKVI highly recommends renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle for navigating the terrain on St. John. We can provide a list of trusted local rental companies and also have a few villa vehicles available. Please inquire with the BOOKVI Team about options!
Other Things to Note:
All Guests will receive a contract for signature in order to finalize the booking. Once your flight is booked, please provide your flight information to help us plan your arrival. We can assist with arranging private transportation from the airport to the villa, private taxi service, boat charters, private chefs, and spa services. Summary: The villa was great - well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. Location was close to beaches and town (about a 7 minute drive to Cruz Bay). Property team was communicative and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

Summary: The house is located just a few yards from the beach. We could sit in the house or on the back porch and watch the water and the boats in Chocolate Hole Bay. It was great having a paddle board to take into the bay and watch the turtles swim by. The house is close to Cruz Bay and travelling to the North Shore beaches was no problem. The only drawback is the huge pit in the front of the house that was a safety concern. It needs to be filled in or fenced off,

Summary: Castaway Villa is a beautiful, new property. The rooms are spacious and everything is new. We found it hard to find as it is in a nondescript area and the entrance road is not marked. There is a beach area but the Villa is not on a beach front. Had beach equipment, an electric grill, outdoor seating, and resident iguanas right outside our door! Convenient location.
