Positive: The location is ideal for parking. It is at the top of tye road. If you are looking for privacy, our accomodation was nicely tucked away in the lower property, meaning just a lovely view of bananas and cocoa trees. Reasonable good value for money.

Negative: The photos are misleading. It isn't as luxurious as it appears. The bathtub isn't secure and moves, which is unnerving. There is no AC, only fans. This means a very hot night's sleep. The window outside the main bedroom is adjacent to a side road. Constant screeching of cars struggling to go up the hill. The mosquito nets are stained and need replacing. I could nit pick more, we liked it, but just felt we were in for something more luxurious. This fell below our expectations. Ok for a shorter stay. Not for longer.

Positive: Superb appartment, well-equipped kitchen, great outdoor bath tub on little veranda, nicely furbished. Close to Castara beach.

Negative: Double bed quite small. Several power failures in the neighbourhood, no air-con, just fans, but they are powerful.

Positive: The open space, convenience, proximity to beach, waterfall and other shops etc

Negative: Too close to the main road, the constant noise of the vehicles, too much sunlight peering through the top glass, so was bit uncomfortable during the day .

Summary: The cottage was quite cozy, clean and generally comfortable, except during the day.

Positive: Great apartments in good location in Castara. Easy to communicate with and they waited to check us in as our flight was late.

Negative: WiFi wasn't very reliable.

Positive: The cottage is quaint, beautifully decorated and has a small balcony with an ocean view. Two beaches were a short walk away (though the hills were steep!). The room also had a kitchen with fridge, stove and a variety of small appliances. Great for those who like to make their own food on holiday. Both AC and fan were available, which was nice because it got hot during the day.

Negative: The cottage provided utensils, cutlery and dishware, but not all of it was clean.

Positive: I’ve travelled a lot, but this place is definitely one of my favourites! Lovely decorated, the bath tub is amazing, people are so nice.. literally a few steps from the beach, and even sea views! On top of all this Castara is a lovely town, very safe, beautiful beach and lovely restaurants! Thank you! We miss It already and we’ll be back in the future :)
