Completely Remodeled to the studs! New Kitchen Countertops, Cabinets, Wood Plank Floors, Sparkly New Bathroom, 2 Bedrooms, Laundry Room, Patio, and BBQ with Towering Elms, Aspens and Cottonwoods! The Serta Master Bed is firm and lofty with allergen-free pillows, pillow covers and Cotton Bedding. Leather Sofas in the Living Room and Two Rocker-Recliners add comfort for TV watching or reading. There is high-speed internet and Wi-Fi. Gorgeous Countertops are in the Kitchen and the new Pine Cabinets are filled with bakeware and serving ware. We have air conditioning for the times when the mountain air isn't enough.

Birds and wildlife visit the Casita and the property regularly so you'll see lots of hummingbirds, goldfinches, spotted towhees, white-breasted nuthatches, juniper titmice, ravens and lately a kestrel, when the ravens don't chase it away! We've just added an owl box and a bat box to the property! The javelina come through about every other night, plus we've seen a coyote and raccoons.


We are located 1.6 miles from downtown in a neighborhood down a long lane on 1.25 acres. There is a meadow and Miller Creek, when it is running. Fry's grocery store is a couple blocks away. We are licensed, inspected and compliant with the City. We have fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and a first aid kit. Prescott has a Noise Ordinance from 10pm to 8am. We do not allow parties or events. Pets are allowed with permission, a signed Pet Agreement and a Pet Fee.

Summary: This was our second stay at the same place! Karen and Dave are amazing hosts! We find such tranquility and peace while saying here! Very clean and has everything needed from A-Z let me tell you! You want to sit outside even if the weather is cooler? No problem! The patio has a heater directly above the spacious patio table! You want to grill? No problem! You want to play horseshoes? Again, no problem! Without mentioning a specific restaurant " when you're here , you're family " ! Let me tell you folks, please stay here! You will not be disappointed!!!!!!!

Summary: The whole property was inviting. Both Lilly/ pup n myself plus company that dropped by enjoyed n felt very comfortable n cozy in this property. The beds were so comfortable, living room n kitchen furniture too Our host are so thoughtful n went beyond expected I would return next week if I could! lol!!! Loved it!

Summary: Karen & Dave are very friendly, helpful, and professional. Perfect place for my little family. Ample supplies in kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedrooms. Everything was very clean! We have no complaints. We will definitely be coming back to this place whenever we visit Prescott again!

Summary: The hosts, Karen & Dave, were wonderful. We were greeted on our arrival with fresh flowers and a small welcome gift was in the fridge. The Casita is a wonderful place to stay - a perfect retreat to enjoy Prescott. Karen has filled the casita with all kinds of material about where to go and what to see in the local area. The casita is beautifully decorated, cozy, and has absolutely everythind you need to ensure we had a great stay. We will be back for a longer stay for sure!

Summary: The host David was wonderful! So helpful and accomodating. The Casita is a true home away from home! Everything you could want was there and even some things you didnt know you needed! Beautiful little trail and garden walking area, loved the grill and patio area. Such a nice place to just relax and feel comfortable. All the amenities you could want. Highly recommend!

Summary: What an amazing property! We visited in early october and the weather was lovely. I'd love to see it at different times throughout the year ro see all the critters running around.The hosts were wonderful and checked in with us during our stay to ensure all was well.The beds could use some updating in the casita property, but everything else was stellar.Thanks to Dave and Karen

Summary: Everything in the house was nice. We didn't like or realize it was so close to the road with lots of traffic. We were not left alone to enjoy the place to ourselves and there was no yard for our dogs (which we did know) but it still made the stay difficult for us.Other than that it was nice!
