Positive: We loved the rural tranquillity of this peaceful little village. The house is clean and spacious, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable too. The garden is nicely laid out with plenty of seating to take advantage of sun throughout the day. It's an ideal location for exploring the countryside and visiting Marvao and Castelo de Vide.

Negative: The water flow in the shower could do with upgrading, though the water is hot, you really have to hug the wall to get a shower! The pool looked very inviting but sadly the weather was too cool for us - nothing the owners could do about that.

Summary: A lovely cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Perfect for a tranquil retreat.

Positive: Excellent location in a tiny rural community- very quiet. Beautiful views in the area. So many interesting walks in the area, including options to walk directly from the property. Outdoor area lovely with opportunities to sit in the sunshine/ shade all day long. Clean with everything listed working well.

Negative: The lighting in the lounge was rather dim in the evening.

Positive: Check-in/out with Sonia was easy and she was very welcoming. We really appreciated her kind gifts of bread, chorizo, jams and red wine - all of which were delicious. It is a lovely house with everything you need to self-cater. It has a fabulous outdoor area with lots of seating, a swimming pool with loungers and a BBQ. The location is very scenic and ideal to visit Marväo and Castelo de Vide. We would have loved to have stayed longer.
