Positive: Casal Dragone lies in the middle of a kind of plain, basically 15 km from any village. It feels like a Ranch on a prairie, which I found very attractive. The rooms was large, albeit the doors are too low (1.80m?), but that's part of the history of the place. The restaurant is a simple but pleasant area where good food was prepared. It arrived on a Monday (restaurant closed), yet the staff offered a simple meal that was well prepared and despite its simpleness tasted very good. The wine from their own vineyard was excellent (I bought 6 bottles) and at a very decent price. Breakfast was very Italian, simple yet tasteful. Sufficient parking space.

Negative: I was lucky to choose to check in around 15h, while after having returned at around 18h from visit to Matera I noticed that the reception was closed (until dinner time, 20h). Had I not checked in earlier, I would have waited a long time before the reception was available for check in. Perhaps I was the last customer of that day so they could close early? Not certain. Otherwise there is nothing else to mention here.
