Positive: Our host was fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed. Gave us plenty of recommendations for eating/visiting which were all excellent! The property was idyllic, the sun was shining and morning coffee on the patio was pure heaven. The garden is expansive, with plenty for kids to play on and explore, including the donkey, pig and goats to pet! Cooking facilities are simple and effective, well stocked with pots pans and other utensils. The location is excellent, close to town with all amenities you could want, and within 30 minutes drive of the coast and the plenty of walks in the national park.

Negative: Wish we could've stayed longer!

Positive: The details to attention are exceptional! Comfortable, feeling home, floor heating!!! Oh my god, what a luxury, especially in winter in houses in Portugal, floor heating is the best idea! Pedro the owner was very kind and generous! The playground and toys for kids are absolutely five star bonuses, let alone animals... The garden, the project! You have to see and feel, one of the best stay we had. Definitely will return and already spread the word in my wide community for this gem!

Positive: We enjoyed a relaxing time in Casal das Fontainhas, a quiet and green place with a pool, trampoline and more toys for the kids than you can count. The kids made friends with a rabbit, donkey and some goats. And the parents spent most of their time in the hammock. Our host Pedro was especially helpful. Thanks a lot!
