Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We loved this place. The cabin was rustic, but had all we needed. Adele invited us to stay for dinner and even invited me into her kitchen to help prepare the meal. She taught me how to make tortillas from scratch. Her kids entertained us and her husband told us about their work on the nature reserve. She took us out on a hike through the jungle trails the following morning to see the monkeys. This place is in sharp contrast to the usual resorts and hotels, but will leave you feeling like you’ve experienced authentic Mexico. Excellent food, beautiful garden, chickens, pigs, dogs, peacocks and bees…..and the nicest family you could ever meet!❤️

Negative: I didn’t like having to say goodbye.
