Positive: The Lido Thalasso and Spa is conveniently located, with a back gate to Lalla Meryem beach and near to the many restaurants on the Corniche. The hotel employs a large number of helpful multilingual staff. Our room was large, sparkling clean with en-suite toilet and shower room. Hair dryer, refrigerator and free wifi provided. Food portions in the pool-side cafe are generous although the menu is limited. The pool was nearly empty while we were there (August) and the cheerful attendant provided free towels, occasionally but effectively reprimanding a small number of unruly kids. The hotel is well- served by public transport; the number 5 bus from Casa Port stops at the nearby Megarama cinema and continues on to Morocco Mall. Ain Diab tram stop is 20 minutes away on foot.

Negative: While the hotel is perfectly functional, the decor is a little dated. They still have three phone booths which I guess nobody has used for twenty years! Several rooms were closed for refurbishment while we were there, ideal from our point of view as the facilities were consequently less busy. Complimentary bottled water would have been nice, as the tap water is not safe to drink in Casablanca.

Positive: Friendly staff, just on the coast. Restaurants and shopping near by. Pool

Negative: The hotel is under the reconstruction main rooms are closed and we had to sleep in a room with no view behind the main Building. Very expensive only gym including. (Mu son lost the tooth he became 100MAD after breakfast 100 disappeared)
