Positive: The house is situated on a hill overlooking a pasture and mountains in one direction and the homes beautifully landscaped grounds in the other. It’s close to town but private enough that you’re not overlooked by neighbors, therefore, you feel like you’re in the country. There were plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate our family of 12 adults. Our hostess Patricia was over the top accommodating. She was extremely helpful with our constant questions and offering great suggestions for day trips and places to eat throughout our stay. The house is perfectly located in Andoain with easy access to explore San Sebastián and many quaint small towns all within 20 to 30 minutes away.

Positive: The property was excellent, it more than met our expectations. A great location in a beautiful area of north Spain. Our host Patricia was very welcoming making sure all the facilities were explained and made sure we were comfortable. Patricia advised us on the local transport (train station) and places of interest to visit, making our stay a delight.

Positive: Perfect for a visit in the basque country. Beautiful place with all the necessities. Nice little city in Andoain, as a base for visiting other places nearby as Hondaribbia, Getaria, Pamplona, Bilbao, San Sebastian, etc. Train station nearby and 15 min with train to San Sebastian. A lot of trails and walks nearby in a fantastic nature. Perfect for both long and short walks. Also, splendid area for bicycling. I regret not having brought my bike. Very helpful host. Gave us a lot of tips and assistance for our trip. Big house with a big, beautiful garden with a pool. We loved the experience.

Negative: The beds were a little hard for my taste.

Positive: A gorgeous villa in the most beautiful peaceful location set in lovely gardens in the countryside, beautiful swimming pool with towels provided and lots of sun loungers. We loved the outside seating areas especially the terrace by the kitchen where sat every night. Lovely comfortable bedrooms with lots of pillows and soft bedding, two good doubles, one twin and one twin/triple with loads of wardrobe space. Three very nice bathrooms. Good proper big bath sheets! Well equipped kitchen and a basement kitchen, plus fabulous games room for the kids. The week went too fast! The villa is a few minutes from Andoain where there are supermarkets etc. and near San Sebastián and lots of beaches. We ran out of time to do everything! Would book this lovely place again without hesitation thank you so much Patricia 🙂
