Positive: The Casa was fabulous, and just what we needed for 3 days of our 12 day break in Northern Spain. Room was great with everything we needed. The kitchen & dining area was massive. It also had a lounge area. There was everything you needed to self cater. Breakfast, dinner & BBQ were also available we believe! Areas of the Casa were shared, but this was great, as we met a lovely couple from Montana & another from France. Great relaxing outdoors areas to eat, relax, sunbathe or play. Courts, pitches, etc all available. The pool was an odd shape, but lovely & warm, covered & used it every day. Downstairs games area with table tennis, darts & video games, WC, washer and another lounge. Great house for couples or large family groups. Bilbao, San Sebastián & Guernika are easy enough day trips. Also plenty of beaches fairly close.

Negative: Nothing really, brush up on your Spanish as little English spoken, but no issues with phone translation. Little bit of a walk to shops & cafe etc & very rural. But just what we wanted. The man of the house was away. Think he normally does the cooking & BBQing? His wife was very amenable, as were the cleaning staff.

Summary: 3 day rural Spain stop.

Positive: We rented the whole villa and it was 5 friends the fact each room had its own en-suite is what sold us on the property - all the room were equal in size / bed / bathroom was also in its favor - there is a games room downstairs which was great - the location worked for us in the countryside with easy access to Bilbao and the host was excellent answering any questions we had.

Negative: Bed was a bit hard for me - but that is personal preference

Positive: A beautiful place close to Bilbao, but feeling like being in the middle of the countryside. Spacious, comfortable, spotless clean room. Extremely relaxing stay!
