Positive: So many things to like about this property! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming and flexible when our plans went awry. The apartment is spotless, very charming and well stocked with supplies. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to cook in the apartment and cannot comment on the kitchen facilities, however with everything else being so perfect, we would imagine the kitchen would be the same. Lovely bathroom and shower, very comfortable beds, air conditioning in several parts of the apartment and although our kids slept on a pull-out couch, they both slept very well and reported it to be comfortable. We got a chance to meet some of the locals and without exception, they were all friendly and welcoming. The town and surrounds are gorgeous, and perhaps because of the 15minute drive up to the town on a windy road, a little less touristy, which was perfect for us. We had far too little time on Corsica but would dearly love to return and if we do, we would look up Casa Pernice again for sure.

Positive: Very clean apartment. the pizza restaurant was excellent, best pizza i have tasted, very friendly staff. A pity it only opened a few days a week

Negative: lack of restaurants, only two, one was very expensive, food only average. Road up to village not for the nervous driver.
