Welcome to my home in La Paz (the El Centenario area). Home is in a gated neighborhood and features 3 bedrooms, and 3 baths and easy access through sliding door to a full back patio and the pool, all available bedrooms are upstairs.
The kitchen includes modern appliances. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove in addition to, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils to meet almost any cooking and dining need.
The living area is cozy with comfortable furniture and a large TV with cable.
Outdoors is the focus of living and visiting La Paz, with perfect weather and low humidity for most of the year. The outside area features a beautiful 5 ft. deep pool, a covered patio and chairs, and a small “beach” area for those sun tanning times.
The upstairs roof palapa is perfect for those early risers for sunrise over the Sea of Cortez with that first cup of coffee (or Bloody Mary), or gorgeous desert sunsets with a glass of wine or margaritas! The views are amazing with wide open spaces if you're looking for peace and quiet and a sky full of stars.
La Paz has several beaches you may want to explore -- Playa Balendra, Playa El Tecolote and Playa Tesoro are all within easy driving distance for a full day at the beach, with more rustic but beautiful beaches even closer in our area.
For those inside-the-house times, there is a large Smart TV in the living area and Master bedroom, full Wi-Fi internet connection.
The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer for your use.
La Paz offers your choice of water activities -- from whale watching, whale shark snorkeling in the Bay, and scuba diving, to boat excursions to Isla Espiritu Santo. La Paz is known as a major deep-sea fishing and game fishing location, and excursions are available from the surrounding marinas. While there is fantastic whale watching close to La Paz, for those land lovers, off-roading experiences are available from several local vendors for excursions into the desert.
La Paz is more than a resort city -- it is a fully functioning city (the capital of the State of Baja California Sur) with easy shopping for food at several stores including a Mega Walmart, and Sam's Club. There is a nice variety of restaurants with excellent offerings. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere at major locations. While it's a working city, La Paz still has the feel of a quaint village with a beautiful downtown Malecón (Boardwalk) which is15min away from the home which has several miles of boardwalk perfect for walking, running, bicycling or just relaxing with yet another delicious margarita!
Arrivals - Most people fly into Cabo San Lucas (SJD) International Airport and drive or take a pre-booked shuttle the 2.5 hours northeast to La Paz on great roads with scenic views of the Pacific along the way as you crisscross the Baja. A brief half-way stop in Todos Santos for lunch at Hotel California or any of their many great restaurants and some shopping is a must!
If you fly into La Paz International Airport the property is approximately 8 minutes away. We suggest take a taxi at the airport, use mobility apps, or rent a car from one of the agencies when you land.
Please note this is a non-smoking home, and while I love pets, this is a no-pets home for rent.

Summary: The home was welcoming, safe, so clean, and so well equipped. I really WISH we wanted to cook, because the kitchen was as well-equipped as home (and cupboards full!) The house had so many lovely details, we fell right into comfort. Thanks.

Summary: Stayed at this property from Dec 29-Jan 1 with family and was greatly impressed with the property. As stated in the description, the property is in a gated community with 8 other properties and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. While the neighborhood is in the outskirts of La Paz, it feels safe and is only a short drive into the city and malecón - where all the upscale restaurants are located. I enjoyed the quality of the bed sheets, large sofa, quiet neighborhood, and amenities (Alexa, coffee maker, all pans and pots, washer/dryer with detergents, gated community, etc). You could see the ocean and New Year’s fireworks from the rooftop. Because of the cold afternoon, we weren’t able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. With regards to the process, before our arrival, the owner established a WhatsApp dialogue to provide instructions and for any general communication. We were received at the property, handed the gate electronic key and house keys. Sonia, who received us was very friendly and gave us a walk of the property with an opportunity to ask questions. My family and I felt at home and well taken care of during our stay. I highly recommend it this property and would consider it for future travels to La Paz.

Summary: Imagine if you had a close friend or relative with a beautifully decorated home that let you stay when they were out of town. I loved my stay at Casa Paloma Blanca. The pictures don't do it justice. This isn't a sterile vacation rental, this is someone's home and it has all the amenities. I can not say enough positive things about the communication and help that I received from the owners; property manager & house keeper. They made sure my stay ran smoothly. El Centenario is where I wanted to be, so the location was perfect. It's best to have a car, there are a few things in walking distance, most of the things you will want to do require transportation. During my stay the bus did go by on the street 1 time an hour. Quiet area with wonderful neighbors
