Positive: We loved our stay at Casa Orchidea from beginning to end. Communication prior to arriving from Katia was great, we were then greeted by Giovanni on arrival who talked us through the apartment. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk, a bottle of wine, water, some breakfast items were included which was a lovely touch. The apartment has everything you could need and is very comfortable. The balcony with amazing views over the lake is the cherry on top. The apartment was spotless too.

Negative: The only thing that might put people off is that the apartment is directly above a small bar. This didn’t cause an issue for us, but there was some noise until around 11pm on the Friday evening.

Summary: A prefect stay on the lake.

Positive: Great view! Direct view of the lake and mountains. balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Well stocked apartment, with coffee and coffee machine, wine.

Negative: Noise from road in the night, especially from motorcycles. Cafe is located directly below, and in the evening some cigarettes smoke and noise. No air conditioner, summer nights are hot and noisy ( one cannot close in the night due to the absence of air conditioning). Thresholds under the doors are improperly fastened with outside screws with sharp edges.

Positive: Very pleasant owners. Everything was perfectly clean. The welcome was also very friendly. Parking lot available directly across the house.

Negative: Well, there is a bar under the balcony daily open from 5am, so you can expect a bit noise because it's the main meeting point of the locals but it's also a perfect place to get something to eat or drink etc. with closed windows you won't notice anything.
