Positive: The owner is very charming and friendly. We really enjoyed the stay, especially given the proximity to nice beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. Appreciated the flexibility of the owner to accommodate and help us (e.g. we couldn't get an Uber, so she quickly recommended a local cab company). Also due to our late departure, we were allowed a late check out. Absolutely a great stay we would recommend to anyone with kids.
Negative: It's not the most popular spot for Uber drivers, especially for pick up.

Positive: The host was great. She gave us all the information we needed and was always helping out. She thought of every little need one might have. She was also very nice to talk to, and came over to visit, without being pushy. The apartment was roomy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We appreciated that there was a key box with a code right outside the door. We were three girls, and it was also practical to leave the key there during our stay, so that we didn’t have to carry the key around and everyone could get into the apartment by themselves. There was decent closet space, aircondition in every bedroom, and a washing machine. The place is also renovated and modernised. We truly recommend booking at Casa Nefili. You’re close to the beach, the city (the bus leaves right outside the door, and the host will help you figure out the bus-schedule), and the airport. You have a lovely home where you can relax and charge between activities. There is a supermarket nearby, and some good places to eat. And again, last but not least, the host was outstanding.

Positive: I stayed a lot of places in Crete and Emanuela's apartment was by far the most beautiful and useful. Heraklion airport is less than 10 minutes by car. 300 metres away there is a fully equipped and cheap to use municipal beach. By the way, it is also very enjoyable to watch and take photos of the aeroplanes landing frequently at the airport just to the left of the beach. There are all kinds of shops in the neighbourhood, including taverns, markets and bakeries. The large parking space is a great advantage. But the apartment itself is marvellous. Two large bedrooms, spacious living room, fully equipped modern kitchen, complimentary snacks, coffee and water. Spacious bathroom with bathtub and fully automatic washing machine. Every need has been considered and every effort has been made for comfort... Emanuela, the young lady who lives next door, is a friend and a kind person who is ready to help in any way. My mother and I could only stay for two nights, but we would have liked to stay much longer... It was also a pleasure to watch the planes landing on the large veranda. Highly recommend.

Positive: The apartment is spacious with lots of cooking utensils and essentials for a longer stay (e.g. laundry). Communication with the host was smooth, and the little touch of leaving coffee and other treats upon arrival was lovely. The apartment is walking distance to a long sandy beach, with various cafes and restaurants nearby. The outdoor seating gets a lovely afternoon/evening sun.
