Summary: Casa mava is the best place to stay in puerto! The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions. This place is great to stay if you want to be in a quiet location away from the noise of La punta and zicatela but still close enough to walk to either one. The property is very clean, especially for somewhere on the beach. My Birkenstock broke while I was there and I asked front desk if they had tape and they did me one better and took my shoe and glued it back together, talk about 5* star service. I would definitely stay at casa mava again

Summary: By far my favorite hotel in Puerto Escondido. Second time staying here and I definitely recommend it. Cleanliness to great communication with staff. Close to the beach. It’s amazing.

Summary: Fernando and his team are truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered. I had a medical emergency during my stay, and they went out of their way to support me with genuine care and compassion. It’s something I will never forget. Beyond that, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed and incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its aesthetic and comfort, but for the extraordinary people behind it.
