Positive: It’s location from the bus terminal - 5 minutes by cab or a 15 minute walk. Decent pool and patio area. A good size kitchen with the basics and a decent sized supermarket near the bus terminal.

Negative: It’s in a residential area which doesn’t offer much in the way of restaurants - not much variety in the centre either.

Summary: Nice place and excellent value for money. Helpful host with personal contact to assist with taxis on departure

Positive: This newer house is in a quiet neighbourhood, with lots of shade provided by the trees around the property and a pool that was perfect for cooling off after a day of visiting the ruins and cenotes in the area. Sergio and his parents, Vicente and Suemia who live nearby, were very friendly and prompt in responding to our needs and questions. Sergio even arranged at very short notice to have the brakes on our car attended to by a local mechanic. A/C in the bedrooms made sleeping comfortable, and there was comfortable living room furniture. The kitchen has basic equipment that met our needs.

Negative: Internet strength was variable, and water pressure was so-so in the bathrooms. It would be nice to have more comfortable outdoor furniture, since we spent most of our time at the house outside by the pool.

Summary: A great, comfortable place to stay for visiting the area!
