Summary: We were made to feel very welcome here by the owners and they provided us with a lovely breakfast and good advice on recommended local restaurants / live music. The property is only a couple of hundred metres from the beach which is one of the best I have ever visited. Highly recommended.

Summary: Friendly and lovely host! We would definitely come back here if we revisit Varadero. The rooms were super clean and quiet. They also provided us breakfast for $5 per person, it was nice too. We are so glad to meet them!

Summary: No Wi-Fi, contrary to the advertisement in hotels.com. There is a Wi-Fi connection, but you need an internet card to gain access. And even the Wi-Fi connection, you have to ask for it. It was not pro offered. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable. The second bad, the equivalent of a cot, had a sagging mattress. It provided a terrible sleep. The breakfast is $5 American per person and includes coffee, eggs, with or without ham and cheese, and toast. The back patio area allows for outdoor seating. There is a place outside to wash your feet so you don't bring sand inside. That was deeply appreciated. The staff on site are the owners of the home, and they are very friendly. The location of the home is absolutely perfect. I repeat perfect. It's a mere three blocks to the beach and restaurants are two blocks away.

Summary: Karelia is a lovely host, she let me use the room for extra hours for a small charge. There is a nice garden patio to sit in. This is a great budget option in an expensive area. There is no breakfast and it is a 5-10 min walk to the nearest shops.
