Positive: Spacious flat, kitchen has all amenities, great location, good value for the area

Negative: I was surprised to be asked for a deposit a couple of days before arriving, when it’s also a non-refundable booking. Was told it’s clearly written in the fine print… the duvet was dirty with yellow spots and there was no duvet cover to place it inside. The switch for the water heater wasn’t marked in any way, but at least property replied quickly when I asked for the hot water (we switched it on accidentally then ended up switching it off again). Street can be a little loud, but at least bedroom is inwards.

Positive: The apartment is located in the very centre of the city. Easy walk to shops, the embankment, the bus stop, the ferry... The hostess was easy to communicate with, always helpful. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare dinner, but there was no dishcloth and dishwashing liquid at all.

Negative: The bed linen was not clean, there were no screens on the windows and therefore it was impossible to open the windows - mosquitoes were annoying. As a result, the apartment lacked air and light.

Positive: Very clean and modern, very secure, has 2 balcony, one in the back to dry clothes and one in the front to sit. Loved that it’s near everything 5 mins to ferry. Would stay again.

Negative: One and only disappointment was that the internet was slow and kept cutting out constantly, Either the Wi-Fi is shared by too many people or the router isn’t set to a channel not used by half the neighborhood. Both issues can be fixed by the host as it would be a problem for a guest staying a longer term. This is absolutely the only thing that was a negative to me and other than that this place is FANTASTIC!

Summary: Amazing place, the best place I stay at for my entire trip all over Malta! Close to everything in a great neighborhood,

Communication with the host was slow; my question about late arrival was answered only on the day of arrival and not directly. That same day, the host requested payment via Stripe for the environmental tax and a €150 damage deposit, though this was not mentioned in the booking terms. Booking.com later confirmed the deposit was not part of the original agreement.

Positive: I stayed here for a week. Location is just perfect to get to anywhere at anytime. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very considerate how they left drinking water as complementary. It’s a very cozy apartment, felt like home. AC works perfectly, all the equipment is great-you can fully live here if for longer periods.

Negative: For light sleepers just as I am, apartment’s isolation is quite poor, you need to prepare earplugs. I was able to hear people closing the doors, walking in the common area like it was right here in my room, at a level that made me wake up every time.
