Positive: Gorgeous and very spacious 1st floor apartment in a beautiful, historic village with views over Tuscany. The building and most around it originally c. 800 years old. The host was generous (local wine awaited us, helped with laundry), responsive and went above and beyond. Clean and tidy. Wineries, supermarkets, cafés, bars and restaurants all walking distance from the apartment and parking around 50m away for free. Very well located for Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and in the heart of Chianti region.

Negative: It's all terracotta tiled floors, so I'd recommend bringing slippers or similar so you don't get cold feet if staying in winter! One set of stairs up so wouldn't suit those who limited mobility. Otherwise, very hard to fault.

Positive: The entire apartment is well organized, very clean, beautifully decorated and it's within a walking distance from a bar that offers very good coffee in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.

Negative: We didn't have any reasons to complain.

Positive: Our stay in Casa Galletti was absolutely fantastic. Sabrina and her husband were so helpful and kind. Upon arrival they left for us a bottle of wine, water and snacks for breakfast. The village San Donato was exceptionally clean and very picturesque. I would say that this house was one of the cosiest places we ever stayed and we would definitely return.

Negative: Well nothing in this category, all was simply ideal.
