Positive: Friendly host, late checkin possible (9.30pm), well equipped kitchen, new couch in the living room, guest present on arrival.

Negative: Do not anticipate a hotel like accommodation, it is like staying at a (relative's) private home quite some distance from any civilization. 4-wheel drive is not strictly necessary but could be benefiting.

Positive: Thank you so much to Sabina and Carlo for being such excellent hosts! We received a very warm welcome and they provided us with anything we needed, helpful tips about the area, and always with a smile. Nothing seemed a bother. The house was fully equipped with anything we needed and more. It was beautifully and tastefully renovated and in keeping with the character of the place. We had a wonderful stay!

Negative: The direct road from Rubiana to Acquarossa was a little bit challenging at first for less experienced mountain drivers, but Sabina and Carlo told us in advance that there was another much easier route which took only a few minutes longer. By the end of our stay, however, we were zooming up and down the steeper road without any problems.
