Positive: I loved the location of Casa Estela. I was able to walk to everything. I also loved the size. I now know when I come with a friend(s), one unit can be enough for us. Also the Casa Estela team was very helpful and I love that it was a team and not just relying on one.

Negative: Honestly no complaints.

Summary: I had an amazing time and will definitely come back and stay at Casa Estela.

Positive: This place is a little gem tucked away, but in the center of everything. You can access it from the north (stairs from MargaritaPV) and west, but it's located on a hill and a street that curves—so tucked away. It was super simple to access the front gate and the apartment with coded locks. It had plenty of towels (for the beach too) and a yoga mat. The kitchen had it all. It's simple with everything you need. Didn't think we'd spend as much time on the balcony as we did, but it was a nice spot to chill and people-watch. The bed was comfortable, and they had shampoo and soap in the bathroom. WIFI worked just fine. No real complaints. Would stay again!

Negative: It was a little hard to find the exact apartment, as there was no number on or near the door, but I tried the code, and it worked, so we went in. It would be nice to have a broom to sweep up the sand. It was loud—you are in the middle of Zona Romantica—so bring earplugs and/or play white noise on your phone, and you'll sleep through it all. We received a text that checkout was at 11am and that a late checkout would incur a fee, but Booking.com had checkout listed as 12pm. We responded, and they were flexible, so it all worked out.

Positive: Very clean apartment 2 minutes walk from the beach. Very quiet place, easy access via smart lock. There is everything you need for accommodation (air conditioning, dishes, spices, coffee maker and coffee, filtered drinking water, refrigerator, TV, large comfortable bed )many shops and restaurants nearby. Good communication with the owner of the apartment.

Negative: The furniture is a bit outdated, the refrigerator is very noisy, and there was no hot water one day.

Positive: Privacy, location, ok internet connection, AC efficient, full kitchen available, cost vs great location is amazing, 4 minutes walking from the beach.

Negative: Will I stay again and suggest to friend and family? Don't know yet. It was not clear to me that I have to do lots of stairs, to get to the establishment, then to get to the apartment. The middle area/mini ourtyard feels abandoned and became house for a few cats which sits on the chairs and tables. Cannot be used really for relaxation, just as a common smoking area. It was not clear to me which unit i got when I booked. UNIT: - Poorly design: the bathroom, which is in the bedroom, has a door, but not from cealing to floor(see pic), meaning that either you use the bathroom for showers, or other stuff, it is like you are doing that in the bedroom with no privacy or vents for smells and more. - The furnitures seem to be put together a bit random. Mattress was uncomfortable, pillows great. Maybe consider a darker shade for the courtains in the bedroom, for a better dark room when sleeping. - Cleanliness: I found long blon/white hair everywhere in the unit when we arrived. Additionally, the shower box has yellow dirt and build up between the tiles, a bit more cleanness will help for shower and sink. Additionally, the unit was "infested" by ants, at the list the living room, close to the door. There were small ants everywhere, so I had to go all the way downstairs to pick up a broom and clean the entire unit everyday. Tip: and idea could be to have a broom in the unit as well. Overall I had a great time in PV and because of the conveniency of the location., in the heart of zona romantica. A few adjustments will make Casa estela a place where to be when I go back in PV.

Positive: Amazingly peaceful smack in the middle of everything, steps from the best brach. Reverse osmosis water purr system built into kitchen sink.

Negative: Gotta think - the two entry codes (gate and apt door) are 8 digits each -- hard to remember. (And that matters because you will want to step out without your phone for a swim). The apartment's entry code pad is extremely sensitive and takes a good amount of practice to figure out the required touch. Caution: the step up/down in Apt 5 between bedroom and bath, also the kitchen, can be hazardous if you are inattentive. I placed chairs in strategic spots to force me to not forget in the middle of the night.

Summary: Perfect location, amazingly peaceful, incredible value. Restored my faith in Vallarta!
