Positive: We had such a great stay at the villa in Katigiorgis. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the place had everything we needed. The location is quiet and beautiful, just a short walk to the beach. The host was super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even nicer. Would happily come back!

Positive: Once we found it, which took half an hour looking up all the adjacent tracks, which wasn’t ideal two up on a fully laden motorcycle, because there is no signboard or any indication whatsoever that it is Casa Dobrescu, which we were told was deliberate, we were warmly welcomed by the host into the property which is fairly recently built. The room itself is very comfortably furnished and the whole property nicely finished.

Negative: We were very tired and went to bed around 10pm. Unfortunately we were awoken by the family arriving back and going to bed in the adjacent room around 11pm which of course is going to happen but it was like sleeping in a caravan - you could hear every word and a pin drop. We got back to sleep but then were woken again, along with the neighbours, ( we really could hear every movement) at around 12.30 am by music and loud conversation at the bar. We could hear every word as if we were sitting in the bar and trying to sleep was hopeless. My request that they quietened down at 1 am was ignored. It finally quietened down around 2 am. Despite the comfortable room and welcome, we had a terrible nights sleep and it ruined the stay for us. The rooms need some degree of sound-proofing between them and the outside and above all some measure of noise control from the bar at least after midnight.

Summary: Disappointed and couldn’t wait to move on.
