Positive: Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful and mystical little town of Seixal. The view of the ocean and mountains from the terrace deck is breathtaking and truly magical. The Casa itself is super spacious, every room has a charm and outdoor space is significant. We walked through the main entrance and immediately felt as if it’s our home. The owner and his daughter are super sweet people and the most important housekeeper Rita with the biggest heart ever.

Positive: This house is beautiful!! Great location (albeit a few steps!), To die for scenery, comfortable beds and parking!! These days in Seixal, parking is very much needed. Nothing not supplied, at least there was nothing we wanted that we couldn’t find.

Negative: Nada/Nothing.

Summary: Highly recommend a stay here. Would stay again without hesitation if we were a large enough group!

The location in Seixal is perfect for a quiet and relaxed getaway with enough amenities to ensure you have everything needed (including a small supermarket and restaurants) We are only sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Positive: The views from the garden and upstairs terrace are absolutely phenomenal. Photos don't really do them justice! Seixal is so peaceful. We loved going to sleep to the sound of the ocean and waking to the sound of roosters. The location is great - a 5 minute walk to the beach and with a grocery store/bakery/cafe almost opposite. The kitchen was really well-stacked with plenty of cookware, crockery, pots and pans etc and also oils, vinegars and herbs. We spent five days here after some time in Funchal and didn't hire a car. We enjoyed relaxing with a coffee on the terrace, meandering along the vineyard paths and spending time at the beach. One of our top days was visiting Seixal's natural pools (the views are sensational and it's a beautiful place to swim, plus there's a great juice bar with good music serving a cracking avocado toast). But if we had stayed longer we definitely would have wanted to get out and explore further afield, so a car would have come in handy.
