Positive: Genuinely may be the best holiday booking I've ever stayed in. From the beginning, our host, Antonio, waited for our arrival to meet us and show us around the place. There are fruit trees and grape vines on the property, and Antonio gave us a bottle of his own wine and fruits from the trees, and biscuits his wife made! We primarily chose this place for the views, and it was even better than imagined. South facing and on top of a hill, you can see the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. And at night you can see the milky way. Antonio also showed us his wine making process which was very cool. 10/10 location, accomodation, and host

Positive: Recently renovated house with everything you need for living and cooking. Barbecue zone, a chill outdoor zone with tables, sunbeds, and sun umbrellas. A terrace from our part of the house left us speechless. The bathroom is big, the AC is powerful, and the stove is nice. Antonio is an amazing host, he kindly shared with us some fruits from his garden. Kiwi jam from his wife has been left in my heart. The house is standing on the beautiful trail that I recommend hiking. The village Soajo also has everything you might need - a small supermarket, a bakery, a market, a butcher, a river beach, and some landmarks. Many animals live in that area.

Negative: Not problems, but notices. Be aware that the house has two apartments. Some other guests were surprised. Leave your car on the main road near the cafe Casa do Povo until you decide whether you can make it to the house parking.

Positive: This apartment was fantastic! The host met us and was lovely. He provided home made goodies to eat including wine made from the grapes on the property and biscuits baked by his wife. The house was spotless and the views were sensational. The property was located on a beautiful laneway and was close to things in town but was still very quiet for sleeping. The town itself is amazing. Make sure you allow time to explore it. One tip - park on the main street and walk the last hundred metres to the apartment when you first arrive. You can then gauge whether you'd like to drive your car up the narrow lane.

Negative: Nothing except I wish we'd stayed longer.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful place - views, location, comfort and the host all get 10 out of 10!
