Negative: No hot water to take hot shower We were Friends and only 1 bed was made, they did not ask and we didn’t know Bed lamp did not work

Positive: This home was located in a lovely, quiet, little town, about 25min away from the beach, Praia de Santo Antonio. It's very quiet day and night, with only the sound of the church bells. If you are like us and you don't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a touristy area, then this is a great place. You're a 25 min drive from the beach and 2 little cities of Vila de Santo Antonio and Monte Gordo. The beach itself is also very quiet. It is large, the water is warmer than any other beach and the waves are calmer. It's a great place to go with children and/or elderly people or if you really are looking to escape a busy, touristy area. Also, the border to Spain, the town of Ayamonte is only about 15 min away and that is a really cute town to visit as well.

Negative: The only thing we didn't like about this place, was that there is no air conditioning. The Algarve gets extremely hot in August, so A/C would've come in quite handy. There was one little fan in the home, and the windows and blinds open as well.
