Positive: Stunning property with semi private garden and good kitchen facilities. Very charming and a magical stay.

Negative: Bed linen was not clean when we arrived, there was a fair bit of dirt at the end of the bed. However, this could be brushed off and didn’t affect my stay. Toilet flush was not great but fine enough.

Positive: Casa di Lilli is set in a medievel village,, now restored and converted to a few holiday cottages, Set in a beautiful wooded vale, surrounded by fields and woodland. The silence,, apart from birdsong, is exceptional. We were delighted with the decor and furnishings which were of a high standard, The four poster bed was comfortable and warm with superior bedding,, though a little high for my 5 ft!! The bathroom was nicely done, but had no stand- alone shower. It was like arriving in a fairytale, everything for us was perfect.

Negative: We couldn't find a fault!!

Summary: A blissful stay in a gorgeous setting and a magical little house.

Positive: The perfect place if you want to find peace and relaxation in an authentic, natural way. You'll find yourself being connected to nature after a while as this place is immersed in woods and hills. Slightly colder temperatures as it's higher up at 900m above sea level which was perfect in the heat of July. A very calm and magic place, perhaps not the right place if you cannot handle loneliness. The location is exceptional - from here, you can go for dinner at excellent restaurants in the nearby hamlet Rocca d'Orcia, only the drive there through the Valley d'Orcia is worth it. Highly recommended!!

Positive: Toilet flush did not work well but in the end it didnt matter.

Negative: Cozy little house, well equipped, we Loved the welcome basket with fruits and vegetables, the garden with its trees full of castagnia and walnuts. Like a time travel with everything you need. Quiet, nice owners, privacy, relaxing. We loved the place.
