Summary: The check in process was overly complicated and there were issues throughout the stay. The house is well appointed and the location is nice but it just didn't seem like they were prepared to have us. The pool was under construction and roped off, the gas for the stove wasn't turned on, the location for the water timer for showers should be part of the "welcome" write up. As a vrbo premier host myself the service just wasn't something close to being up to par. Also, I didn't appreciate getting a text message in the morning saying that we didn't close the driveway gate the night before. It was raining heavily and we just pulled in and ran in the house. Also a bit creepy knowing that you are being watched via ring camera.
