Positive: i extended my stay so they upgraded my room so i could stay in the same one my whole trip instead of moving , i also arrived earlier than check in time but they was accommodating and let me into my room early

Positive: I was looking for accommodation at the last minute and luckily they had a room available. I was even able to check in in the morning, which I really appreciated. Annas took care of me throughout my stay and he was really helpful and friendly. He speaks excellent English, so I was able to ask him about interesting things to see in Malang and Indonesia in general. I definitely recommend this accommodation😊

Negative: The location is a little outside the center, but it's a quiet place and you can always order grab anywhere.

Positive: The manager Anis was really kind, he was great at answering our questions and he was very happy to just chat. The guesthouse was clean, had a small kitchen with the utilities that we needed and our room was small but nice.

Negative: The bathroom door in our room had some trouble closing but that was it and that wasn’t even annoying.

Positive: It was nice, very clean and cozy. Location is a bit far from center, but they are super cheap so it was great value of money. We did laundry and cook in the house, their facilities are great. Their tours were also amazing. The house is quite social as we also met other travelers there and we can hang out together. So far we enjoyed our stay.

Negative: The city can be very crowded and it took longer to go anywhere due to traffic jam

Positive: Very friendly staff and very cozy vibes, also a cozy location. It's a bit further away from the city, but like everywhere else in Java, everything is easily accessible with Gojek and we prefer a cozy, quiet location to the bustling city centre. There's also some restaurants and warungs nearby. They let you do your laundry for free, which was really great, but they don't have a dryer so if you plan on doing your laundry, keep in mind that it has to air dry. They also have a drinking water dispenser, which is a big plus!! They do have hot water, but the boilers are small, so if you take very long showers, you may run out of hot water for a couple of minutes. They care a lot about the guests and after learning that the bed in our room was a bit worn down, they offered us a better room! They also offer pretty affordable tours.

Negative: The first room we were staying at had no windows, which was a bit of a problem in the bathroom, because there was a bad smell coming out of it and the bedsheets were a bit damp, but that might just be because the house is old and the fact that it was raining outside. When we were moved to the room with a window, we didn't have these issues anymore.

Positive: We had 3 nights at Casa de Vie and it was very comfortable there. We even extended for 1 more day. The welcome was perfect and all the services, the room, the house itself is amazing. The owner Devie is really friendly and she showed us Malang city as she is a local. It was fun! Thank you for everything!
