Positive: Flo and Rene were super hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We arrived earlier than check in time and left later than check out time and they accommodated us, no problem. The breakfast was excellent and through chatting with them we learned a lot about Guanajuato and their families. The locale is ideal… but if you walk home it will test your legs on the uphill. 😆 We used the pool and relaxed on their deck. It was all excellent.

Summary: It was fantastic and we would recommend it to others.

Positive: Great view of Guanajuato while still within walking distance of the center, delicious breakfasts, tea and water easily accessible at all hours, and above all, wonderful hosts. In addition to giving us useful recommendations, Flo and Rene went out of their way to make sure we caught our departing bus on time. Highly recommended.

Positive: Great B&B. If you're lucky enough to be the only guest then it feels like you have a private mansion overlooking Guanajuato. Very friendly hosts who serve breakfast daily and know every little thing about the city. They served a different breakfast each morning and I learned a lot about Mexican cuisine.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The room was charming, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with a perfect balance of comfort and character. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The homemade dishes were absolutely delicious, with a great selection of both savory and sweet options, all made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was clear that a lot of care went into preparing each meal. The atmosphere during breakfast was relaxed and cozy, making it a perfect start to the day.

Positive: Rene is such a great host, so many thoughtful touches to the room and I always felt very looked after and at home which is so important as a solo female traveler. The breakfasts were delicious and he always had a lot of helpful tips on what to do and see while I was here. Would 100% come back and stay here again!

Positive: We have traveled all over the world and this bed and breakfast is a HOME RUN! The hosts were gracious and knowledgeable. The accommodations were immaculate and tasteful. The shower was huge, great water pressure, and the King room view was memorable. The bed was comfortable and the room was sound proof. The breakfast was high quality fresh fruit, yogurt, chilaquiles, and breakfast tacos. We so enjoyed the hosts insights and their attention to detail. It is a high caliber bed and breakfast , that is welcoming and well organized. We will always remember our stay with Flo and Rene fondly.

Positive: Best stay! The room, space and comfort was the best, including the restroom with good hot water. There was a convenient microwave, fridge and coffee area and living room in our floor incase we needed it right outside our room, with the main kitchen downstairs. The views from are room were great and from all over the house as well. The location was convenient and less than 10 mins walking down, and even late on one night i walked and the area felt very safe. Rene and Flo were the best hosts who made it feel like we were visiting relatives, and gave us a great welcome since the moment we arrived, very respectful and fun conversation making our stay even better. They were always attentive if we needed anything or any tips or recommendations for the city. They also lets us know that we were welcome to eat from the kitchen in any case. The breakfast by Letty was delicious and made a different one every morning or even gave extra options of needed. The style of breakfast was with a host and other guests which was great for meeting new people and having a nice new conversation during breakfast. The pool was also available with a heating system, but weather didn't cooperate. Will definitely be staying at Casa de Tillie again.
