Positive: Mabel & Nigel are throughly super hosts, caring for their visitors, providing very nice accommodation and servicing excellent diner.

Negative: The only minor negative point is thé difficult acces to this piece of paradise when you come on your own despite clear pictured directions given.

Positive: Love everything about Casa de Oren! This was my second time staying here and won’t be my last. Mabel and Nigel are amazing hosts and make your stay so enjoyable. The food is tasty and plentiful. The room was very comfortable and warm with a balcony view of the Pisac ruins.

Negative: Nothing, everything was great.

Positive: Beautiful property in the Pisac valley. Stunning views of the surrounding mountains and archaeological sites. The grounds of the property itself are really lovely too, and include outdoor seating areas and a hot tub. Nigel and Mabel were beyond gracious as hosts, even though we weren't the easiest guests. We arrived later than anticipated and had advised them we didn't want dinner when we arrived, but then changed our mind and asked if it would be possible for them to provide a meal, and they kindly accommodated us. Both dinner and breakfast the next day were excellent. As for the rooms, they were spacious and comfortable and felt newly renovated. Great beds and bathrooms. Being able to relax in the hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. With the lack of light pollution it was beautiful being able to see all of the stars.

Negative: The only thing I would have changed is the length of our stay. In hindsight I wished we had spent another 3-4 days in the Sacred Valley overall and I would have loved to have spent two nights at this property. Also, when Nigel advises you that the road into their property is rough and not to be traversed in the dark --- take him for his word!! We were a group of 8 travelling with a driver in a small bus, and it was no easy feat to get the vehicle to the property, but Nigel was superb and helped the driver navigate the road.

Positive: Absolutely incredible property with breathtaking 360 mountain views. Gorgeous garden filled with hummingbirds and butterflies, luxurious yet homey rooms and yum food. But the best part by far are the beautiful family that run the casa. Nigel and Mabel are so warm and inviting, making me feel completely at home and taken care of, even driving me to different walks and given lots of recommendations of things to do and see in town.

Summary: My favourite accomodation in all of Peru!

Positive: Nice little guest house, everything was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were great. Amazing views. Very friendly, attentive and responsive owners. A personal approach to each guest. English-speaking. Secure parking. We did not try the hot tub, so I cannot comment. Just a heads-up - if you're coming with your own vehicle, you may need to be careful if it does not have a suitable ground clearance. There is an unpaved section of the road to the house that may be rough for some city cars. Also, ask the owners to give you directions in advance as google maps is not really helpful. Anyway, if I remember correctly, they also provide free pick up from Pisac.

Negative: Everything was great.
