Summary: The property owners were very helpful and made our stay lovely. The view is unbeatable over the ocean and the town is small and quiet, that was perfect by us! The weather is charmingly changeable. This island is full of helpful, organized, respectful people. Highly recommend!

Summary: This charming traditional cottage is perched on a hill offering beautiful views of the sea, islets & Mosteiros village. There is both an enclosed patio space and outdoor patio so the views can be enjoyed in any weather. It is in an ideal spot for watching the sunsets. There is also a steep but easily accessible walking path to the village. I loved the stone floors and traditional furnishings of the interior. Items to note are the bed sizes are double, not queen or king size. Also, the 2 spacious bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms. We were a couple so the floorplan was fine, but may be a concern for friends sharing the space. My favorite feature was the outdoor shower with views of the village. Communication was quick and efficient. The owner met us for check in and gave us local recommendations. We had a little trouble finding the home so I recommend verifying the coordinates or pin in Googles map before arrival. Off street parking was a bonus. I highly recommend this villa.

Summary: This place is as closebto Heaven as You can get! The views are breathtaking...absolutely the most beautiful views from a home we Have Ever experienced. The grounds are lush with plants and flowers...like a painting. The House is a Rustic and Charming! We can't wait to go Back!! Thank You for this wonderful place to enjoy and relax :)

Summary: The view was spectacular. We were 6 people. We enjoyed this house so much. You have to realize in Mosteiros that the weather can change in an instant. Fatima was a welcoming host. Just so you know the beds are doubles so if you are a big person you might find them small. You have so much privacy here. There is noone around and it is quiet. It is quite damp so the towels dont dry very fast but the sunroom is warm and you can dry things there. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. It is so beautiful.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this enchanting little house with charming accents from another age. Ver well maintained, although in its original old world style. Our kids enjoyed the loft accommodation, like having their own apartment space. We spent many nights on the beautiful terrace gazing up at the stars, identifying constellations. Perfect for starry nights. The lovely owner gave us a good run of the island, places to eat, things to do etc. She has a file nicely prepared with local information. She had provided us with delicious eggs from her very own chickens, milk, bread which is such a welcome starter breakfast pack for a family! The kitchen is a a bit of a squeeze which was fine nevertheless. Some little basics were missing like salt and pepper, toilet paper. I’m sure the owners will catch up on that or you have to remember to take along.

Summary: A beautiful two weeks at Mosteiros in what seems to be a well known house (every local we met knew it by name!) and it’s not hard to see why. An amazing location and breathtaking and relaxing outlook. Cool inside with all the sun you need on the patio overlooking the town. Plenty of parking, a huge garden and field to run around in, kick a ball, space to breathe! Simple but well equipped house which is just what you need on holiday. A great base to explore the island and somewhere special to return to every day which matches the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. The owner and family were lovely, welcoming and very helpful when ever called upon. Very hard to leave! Highly recommend Terra Do Pico and the very friendly bakery who can deliver bread to the house every morning.
