Positive: Unbelievable location. Amongst citrus trees and vineyards, with views that are truly breathtaking. Amazing hosts. You can go and try their excellent wines and amazing honeys. Tours are possible as well, an amazing experience. Pool: fantastic with an amazing sunset in the evening. The house: spectacular. Big kitchen, so you have space to work your magic in the kitchen. 2 Fantastic bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Central airconditioning that works 300% better than anything I have ever experienced. The temperature in the house is fantastic without the risk of getting a cold. It's just the most amazing house and location you will ever experience.

Negative: They made the experience so fantastic you don't want to leave.

Positive: The first thing to mention is location - it’s really private, noone else around - only the wineyards and mountains. The second thing to mention is the owner - she’s such a beautiful person. She guided us on everything before our stay and turned out that there’s their own wine farm. We’ve been there for 2 days only and wanted to do wine tasting but didn’t have a lot of time to come to another village. So we did wine tasting of perfect vinhos verdes right with the owners - the wines are delicious, very recommended. And the apartment is perfectly designed and made 😎

Just 40-50 minutes from Porto and a short five-minute drive to Marco de Canaveses, its location strikes the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility. Plus, with easy connections to the Douro Valley, it’s a fantastic base for exploring the region. The property itself is spacious, high-spec, and beautifully designed. The poolside and grounds are immaculate, offering plenty of room to relax, while the BBQ area is the perfect spot to cook, eat, and take in sweeping valley views. The minimalist aesthetic feels effortlessly luxurious, with every detail thoughtfully executed. What truly sets it apart is the exceptional hosting. The warm hospitality, old-school touches, and seamless communication made our stay feel special from start to finish. If you’re looking for a stylish, tranquil retreat with space to unwind and breathtaking surroundings, this is the place for you. PS the estates wine and fruit is great as well.

Positive: The moment we arrived we fell in love with this property. We were met by Maria who helped locate us when we got lost on the wrong road (our own doing by some poor navigation ) and she helped guide us to the property. The house is modern, immaculately clean with all the amenities and utensils you require. Both bedrooms have large ensuites and exceeded our expectations of the size depicted in photos. The outdoor cooking area also looks wonderful however we didn’t get time to utilise it on our stay. The pool overlooking the vineyard is just magical. We made this our base to discover the area and then didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to relax and feel guilt free about not venturing out for the day as it was so beautiful. We were fortunate to be there when they were harvesting the grapes in the vineyards below and were so grateful to be invited to participate and join in for a lunch. It was the highlight of our whole Portugal trip.

Negative: Nothing. It exceeded all expectations.

Positive: Probably best place ever where we have stayed! Stunning location and the house … i would build or buy an exact copy of the house myself! Trully amazing house with extreme luxury and eye for detailed finishing. In short … we’ll be back! And Maria is a great host and a very nice person! i’m very happy that we have met her.
