Summary: Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well.

Summary: Lovely comfortable stay. Although the weather was not great, we were warm and comfortable in a lovely T2 house with modern, tasteful interior. Communication from host was excellent. Our dog loved it too. Highly recommended.

Summary: The accomodation is very clean and neat but we had two issues. We couldnt get the heat started , and the apartment was very cold. Also we were 2 adults and 2 children but there was no sofa bed as we expected.
