Positive: * Friendly host. * Fridge in the room; couple of water bottles and fruits left for the guests. * Shared bathroom was very clean and not crowded at all. The suite had its own huge bathroom; the only issue was that there seemed to be no hot water. * Large common space and a pool.

Negative: * There was no AC and in the smaller room (the room with shared bathroom) it got hot and humid during the night. * WiFi connection in the room was unstable. * There was no proper desk in the room to work with my laptop.

Summary: Nice house, somewhat impractical rooms

Positive: The house is confortable, there’s enough parking for all the guests in the property and it’s really close to Santa Cruz das Flores. There’s a kettle and a fridge (with water bottles) in the room, which is really nice.

Negative: We knew that the bathroom would be shared but it was really dirty when we arrived. It could be cleaned more, as it’s shared.

Positive: Although I do understand where the other reviews are coming from, I didn't think that anything was too terrible. The amenities were nice, clean, and well organized. The staff although shy was friendly. The rooms could have been better, but the view was worth it.

Negative: I did not like the location. Unless you have a car, you will either have to walk around thirty minutes from the airport or get a taxi. The price was the not worth it in my opinion, but as it was the cheapest available hostel/hotel I guess its okay. Overall disappointed with the lack of hostel options in the Azores.

Summary: Not great, not horrible, just fine

Positive: Being on a hiking trip the location was great. The room was nice.

Negative: The owner needs to do a full overhaul on the place. The jacuzzi and shower had no warm water. During the rain you could hear the drops and although the water did not enter the room I can assure you the roof had.a leak (ceiling had marks too). This place has SO much potential, it’s a shame how it’s run at the time being

Positive: The room was decent, a bit cold, but bed was comfortable and there was a winter blanket in the closet

Negative: Bathroom had no shower supplies and shower door wouldn’t close, hot water was very week, bathroom usually a bit dirty with a lot of hair on the floor
