Positive: The most beautiful and luxurious place we have ever stayed. The house itself has been designed to make the most of every stunning view, and to bring the beauty of outside in. Rui our host thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, recommending taxis, sites and restaurants to us, arranging airport transfers and providing logs for the fire and blankets to keep us warm, since we were halfway up a mountain in December! We even had a gorgeous decorated tree to put us in festive mood. We were staying with my sister's family there and it was perfect for evenings talking around the dining table and time where we could each have space and enjoy the cinema room, library, the reception rooms and the outside views of Guimaraes, which are incredible day and night. Thank you Rui, we had the best time.

Negative: There wasn't a single thing not to like - it was perfect.
