Positive: We had a wonderful experience. The property is perfectly located, just a short walk down some stairs from the beach, and offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere surrounded by lush vegetation. From the house, the views are simply amazing. Carole, the host, is fantastic: very welcoming and incredibly helpful. She has two super-friendly dogs that made the stay even more enjoyable. The room and bed were very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Carole offers a tailored breakfast that you can choose each evening, which was a lovely and personal touch. Do note that the area is rich in vegetation, so you should expect to see some insects. Also, be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs from the main street. One thing I appreciated was how well Carole takes care of her property - she clearly expects guests to treat it with the same respect. Overall, Casa Botanique is a beautiful, quiet getaway with a caring host, perfect for a relaxing stay near the beach.
