Positive: Susana was a fantastic host — incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. The home itself was beautifully designed and furnished, striking the perfect balance between cosy and comfortable. As a group of three, we found there was plenty of space to relax individually while still having great communal areas on the ground floor to socialise and spend time together. We initially worried about arriving late as we were still navigating the metro to reach Casa Aurelia, but Susana was so understanding and reassured us to take our time and arrive safely. The walk from the nearest metro station was only about nine minutes and very straightforward, so anyone using public transport from the airport should have no trouble getting there. (Uber and Bolt are also convenient options.) The house is located in a lovely residential area with plenty of nearby cafés and shops, offering an authentic glimpse into everyday life in Porto. When we arrived, Susana warmly welcomed us, gave us a quick tour of the home, provided the WiFi details, and shared excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants — all of which we truly appreciated. Overall, Susana made us feel completely at home. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. I would absolutely book this accommodation again on any future trip to Porto.

Negative: Virtually nothing to fault. We did notice that the water tended to build up slightly during showers, but this is quite common in many places across Europe. Susana had already thoughtfully provided towels and floor wipes for us, which made it easy to manage and didn’t affect our overall experience. Everything else was excellent!
