Positive: Casa Anised was certainly one of the best "booking.com hostels" that have been booked in the world. The authenticity of the place and its guests leaves an imperishable memory. Somewhere in Romania where time seems to have stopped but which nevertheless bubbles up in activities and diffuse solidarity between the inhabitants of this hamlet. Far from the hustle and bustle of the cities and the indifference of the people, we felt in this place generously welcomed as if we were expected. The owner of the place, Sorin, likes to share his daily life and the fruits of his labor with his guests. For him, work is a cardinal value and very early in the morning he goes to the farm to take care of his sheep, his cows and his vegetable garden. We had the pleasure of going there in a carriage driven by a horse of great beauty. A beautiful family farm nestled between the mountains from where we took a walk guided by his daughter, Denisa. A few days before, a bear and her cub had come to visit him on the outskirts of the farm, to say that the place is still very wild and that it can have many surprises in store. Sorin is a real man who is outspoken about his fears about the change of this society and the future of his farm. He also has a great sense of humor, as does his wife. . It was a pleasure to have these sincere and profound discussions about the reality of this country, conversations that I could have continued for days with him. His wife, Cristina, was also extraordinary and took care of us during the stay.

Negative: Concerned about our comfort and our appetite too! We were able to taste many Romanian delicacies. Breakfast is particularly plentiful. A special mention for the milk from the farm freshly milked in the morning and brought back to the casa anised. Cristina and I share the same job and therefore the same passion: teacher. We were able to share our experiences and realize that despite borders and distances, our questions are very similar. Despite my pitiful Italian, Crisitina took the time necessary to understand me and make herself understood. Their daughter, Denisa, was kind enough to accompany us on our stay. She is a very helpful and welcoming person. She accompanied us on the paths of her childhood, around the farm, and was an extraordinary guide by taking the time to tell us about the history of her country, its borders and her own memories as a young girl. Finally, we had the chance to share with them the blessing of their home by an Orthodox priest. An incredible immersion in Romanian culture and an unforgettable ceremony. There is much more to say, but the sensitivity shared with people is a unique experience. All that's left to do is find out. For our part, my wife and I hope to see them again soon and maybe be able to zipline in Sorin Mountain.

Positive: The hosts are great. She will bake a cake for you every day to have with cofee. They are very kind and welcoming. They have an entertainment room with pool table and games. In the back they have a brick grill, a garden and ostriches, ducks and other small animals. The house is newly renovated and clean. I would come back here for sure and rent the whole place. A plus, smart tv in the living, it will conect to phone

Positive: We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Casa Asined during our tour around Romania. The accommodations were very nice, with a real relaxing feel but one of the best part of our visit was the food that we asked Mrs Cristina to cook for us. The food was truly traditional and delicious (most of it from their own farm 100% “ultra” organic). Cristina, Sorin and Denisa were wonderful because not only our meals were very tasty, their garden was amazing and the views were just heavenly but also due to the information they shared about Ladauti and the surrounding area (that was extremely interesting). Sorin is a positive and wonderful gentleman, we loved our long talks and his kind soul. Cristina is an amazing lady, the best traditional cook we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and an amazing individual with an incredible personality. Denisa was lovely and extremely helpful and our baby enjoyed her company, we really hope to see her again next time we will visit. We enjoyed the visit to their farm, our toddler was amazed by the cows and sheeps. We would highly recommend this unique place for relaxation and nature contemplation. We would say that it’s very close to being a true agritourism b&b. We would recommend an extended stay to be close to nature or based on your beliefs maybe see what God has created. You can also visit a lot of amazing places in the area, we mostly enjoyed the Bison Nature Reserve (Rezervatia de zimbrii) and the Howling Waterfall (Cascada Urlatoare). Concluding: An amazing experience and we would definitely like to visit them again soon! Last but not least a big shout out to Booking.com for sending us here basically for free and allowing us to discover this amazing place.
