Positive: Self serve breakfast was good. We rented two spaces, a single room and a small apartment. The apartment was fine.

Negative: overpriced single room was inadequate. Room was too small and lacked furnishings. Not to mention the critters crawling around in the bathroom. Had to turn the shower off periodically to allow the water to drain to avoid flooding. Steep drive way caused scraping of the car undercarriage on exiting, even at different angles. Thankfully, it was a rental with full coverage. Neither the apartment nor the single room contained a microwave oven.

Summary: Picturesque, overpriced and couldn't wait to get away.

Positive: Great location, easy access to the city by train or car. The room was exactly has advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and provided us with great information for our visit. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Positive: I really enjoyed the welcome feeling of our host. It was super helpful without over doing it and gave us an excellent tip on where to eat. The countryside landscape and quite environment was a good break from Florence city.
