Puffin Cottage Holidays present Cartwright's Cottage, a beautifully renovated cottage peacefully situated in the picturesque village of St Florence, just a 5 minute drive from the historic seaside town of Tenby.
St Florence village itself has two lovely country pubs and a village shop. The popular family attractions of The Dinosaur Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and Heatherton are within a few minutes drive, along with many other of Pembrokeshire's wonderful attractions and diverse beaches that are all within a 25 minute drive.
Cartwright's Cottage is part of Ivy Tower Cottages, a fabulous collection of holiday cottages which enjoy views over the Pembrokeshire countryside and offer a range of onsite facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, mini golf and an outdoor playground. There is also a large communal garden with football pitch and BBQ areas. With all that this cottage has to offer it is the perfect place for a relaxing but fun filled family holiday at any time of the year.
The cottage enters into the hallway which leads through to the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.
Kitchen: Well-equipped with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob and Nespresso coffee machine.
Lounge: Comfortable lounge and dining seating for up to 6 people. Large wall mounted TV with Freeview.
Upstairs:
Master Bedroom: Double bed. Window overlooking the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds. Window overlooking the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside.
Bedroom 3: Bunk-beds. Note that these beds are suitable for children only.
Outside there is ample parking for 2 cars.
The communal gardens provide a wonderful place for adults to relax and for children to play. To the front of the cottage there is also a private picnic bench.

Summary: Great property when you have young children, as grounds and pool ideal. The pool booking system needs updating as we often could not book a morning slot, but this did not distract from the holiday as the pool was open to all from 4 pm. The 8-9am family slot was a little too eatly for us!! Maybe allow a couple of cottages to book between 10am-4pm -, we certainly wouldn't have minded if another family joined us. Is this system for the people who own the cottages and are onsite, maybe?? The owner was easily contactable when the cleaners arrived late and the issue was sorted quickly and the owner was very obliging letting us book out at 10.30 am and not 9 am. The surrounding area is easily reached and lots of fun parks nearby, as are the beaches. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at Cartwright Cottage.

Summary: A lovely holiday home, well equipped, lovely furnishings, quiet location. Added bonus of the on site facilities is great. Home owner quick to help us out with a small query, they clearly take a lot of pride in their property. Pool, play area and outside space was great for our 2 year old. We hope to stay again in the future.
