Summary: Lovely comfortable converted barn. The standard of everything was excellent especially the well equiped kitchen. The property managers were particularly helpful. We did a morning cookery course in the school/barn next door, which was great fun (didn't hear any noise) . Will highly recommend to friends and definetly would go back .

Summary: Cart Lodge offered a lovely, comfortable welcome with beautiful views and plenty of good walks from the door to enjoy. Very well appointed, and great to have a good sized secure garden to relax in with our dogs on the very warm sunny days we were lucky enough to have for our visit.

Summary: Good location, but not as quiet as we expected due to proximity of Cookery School and neighbours. This was not a problem for us. Very good and welcoming for dog.

Summary: We were really happy with our stay at Cart Lodge. The lodge is beautiful with lovely decor and loads of character but all the modern amenities we could ask for. And the hosts were great, they checked in on us during the storm to make sure we were ok. We would happily recommend anyone to book here so wants a lovely escape to the country.
