Summary: It’s a very nice place to stay could do with a little bit of up dating and refurbishment due to ware and tear of rental accommodation. Maybe a meeting when you first you get into accommodation would be also a nice touch. Lack of frying pan only Wok type pan not good for frying your eggs ! External Rubbish bins full on arrival so had leave on top of bins. Overall experience was positive, due to tranquil location. Differently need a car to get around with local shops in Helensbrough around 5 miles away.

Summary: While the lodge was comfortable and met most of our requirements, the following are some items that we found need attention: 1. Trash/ Recycling: the bins were 1/4 to 1/2 full when we arrived and were not emptied during our entire 12-day stay 2. Towels: more than one bath towel/person would have been appreciated 3. The fans in the second floor bathrooms did not work properly 4. The front door was, at times, difficult to lock/unlock

Summary: We were 3 couples staying in The Carriage Lodge. We chose this property over some of the other options based on the garden space that is available. One of our better decisions. Firstly, it has to be stated that we were very lucky with the weather. That certainly helps in this part of the country and not something that can be guaranteed. However, having lucked out with the weather we took full advantage of all the space and luxury this lodge offers. There was plenty of space inside to have a decent level of privacy, a decent amount of space, a decent level of flexibility to cater for our needs. We were in the garden until after 10pm each night. We took our own pizza oven / cooked on the BBQ and made full use of both large fridges. Lots of space for cooking / all utensils on hand Spotless. Well kitted out. Very helpful staff. Perfect.

Summary: Really nicely done out house on banks of Loch Lomond. Whole house seems to have been recently done out to an excellent standard and all rooms are beautifully furnished. Location is great for exploring the area but is not particualrly close to pubs, shops etc. with (mediocre) Duck Bay Marina about a mile away only place easily walkable. Garden is also fantastic. Property is large enough to accommodate 8 x adults or 2 x families of 4 in comfort.

Summary: Carriage lodge was very nice. Great to be able to all be able to sit round in the lounge. Very clean, lots of utensils for cooking. Lovely garden area. Close to the cruin, 10minute walk.

Summary: We would recommend the Carriage Lodge without any hesitation. It was very homely and all the finishes where of a higher standard than a holiday let. Great location providing you have a car. The house was big enough to give seven people enough space and catered for the needs from a 12 year old to an 80+ year old. Great stay. Thank you.

Summary: We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The house was amazing and catered for all our needs . We thought the Welcome gifts were a nice gesture. The weather was conducive to indoor and outdoor activities and we spent time in the garden both days. Two of my grandchildren loved the space to play and move around ,the other was a baby . This was our first experience of Loch Lomond Lodges and hopefully there will be many more in the future.

Summary: This was our second family get together at Carriage Lodge and catered for our 2 year old up to our 87 year old Grandmother. The garden is perfect for the wheelchair and tot. We yet again felt at home with no negative points whatsoever and we will definitely return when we can.
